Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her work. She is a proponent of animal rights. Her work has received acclaim for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). She grew up in an artistic family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, and later moved into acting and modeling. The award she received was her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international notoriety, as well as the Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. Within just three short films she was the highest-rated female box-office star in the entire world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw married three people.
