Ina Garden is an American book author, who has received Emmy awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. It is scheduled to air for 27 more seasons. Ina began working for the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy and also the budget. While she initially found the work fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. After nearly 18 years of making the store a huge success, she decided to sell it and started writing her first book. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published and she also wrote columns for magazines. The Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. She sells many things, from food ingredients cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has never been to a cooking class or employed in an kitchen.
