Her childhood was a turbulent one. Her mother left her when she was only two to escape from an abusive relationship. Pickler was reunited with the mother she had left in 1995 when she was appointed the custodian. However it did not work out as planned. So when she was 12 the judge returned Pickler to her parents - who raised her to adulthood. With the loss of their parents Pickler was too busy as a mother to her kids. She stated that her time was not enough and that she had to learn how to look after the family from a very young age. Pickler was on the teams that cheered for both high school and middle school. North Stanly High School graduated her in 2004. Pickler is also a skilled beauty queen. The title was Miss Stanly Country. He was stabbed to death, the incident took place in the South Carolina Department of Corrections located in Columbia, South Carolina.
